This workshop covers the 3 principles of perspective. Participants will learn these rules and then apply them to a series of drawing problems. Lessons will start at a very introductory level and progress to more and more complex perspective problems. No previous drawing experience is necessary.
Participants will need drawing paper, pencil, ruler/straight edge, eraser, and a small cardboard box preferably with no labels on it. This workshop is taught via Zoom and it is important that all participants have a strong internet connection.
A Zoom link will be emailed to all participants the day before class.
*** Please note that in order to receive CTLE credit for this workshop, all participants must complete an evaluation using a provided link in order to receive their certificates. This session will be recorded and made available on SAA video channels. In order to preserve the privacy of our participants, we ask that all questions be asked via the chat feature, and an assistant will read them to the instructor to make sure all questions are answered smoothly. Recording will stop towards the end of class for participants to share their work and have discussions with each other via the video feature. The tuition for this class covers the cost of issuing CTLE credits, the video of this class will be made available for free on SAA's YouTube channel to provide accessible art resources for educators around the world***
